Royal City Youth Soccer Club's Super 8 Girls program has been quite successful over the past couple seasons and this year's crop of teams is no exception! New Westminster Secondary School (NWSS) Library
Wednesday March 17th, 2010
7:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Graduating Players will attend from 7:05 - 7:25

If your child is registered with RCYSC, your family are members of RCYSC and are welcome to attend the AGM. RCYSC is a volunteer organization, coaches are the biggest volunteer group but we also need an executive to keep us going. A number of our existing members are going to be moving on this year so we need people to ensure the smooth operations of the club. Persons interested in coaching a team in the 2010-2011 Season need to apply for the position online. This is particularly important for anybody looking to coach a developmental, select, silver, gold, or metro team next year. The application deadline, March 1, 2010, is approaching quickly.

AWARDS NOMINATIONS: On an annual basis the BC Soccer Board of Directors is able to recognize a small few of exceptional volunteers within the membership. These award winners represent the hundreds of volunteers across the province that are the heart of soccer in BC. They are the individuals who administer, coach, officiate, schedule (and everything else in-between) whom without, the children of BC would not be able to participate in our beautiful game.

Selection of the award recipients is based on many factors including the individual?s commitment, community involvement and willingness to give back to the game.

Nominations must be submitted by the district and received by the BC Soccer Office by March 31st.

2009-2010 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS: BC Soccer is proud to award scholarships every year to players and referees proceeding on to post secondary education. The Scholarships are awarded at a special Awards and Scholarship Celebration at the British Columbia Soccer Association?s Annual General Meeting held in June each year. Applications must be signed off by your Youth District Chairperson or Adult (Senior) League President. The completed application can either be forwarded to BC Soccer by the Youth District/Adult (Senior) League or the individual who is applying for the scholarship.

Applications must be received by the British Columbia Soccer Association Office by March 31st.

The Awards and Scholarship Celebration will be on June 12th, at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel. Closer to the date more details about the event will be posted on BC Soccer's website.
