Frequently Asked Questions:

What to wear? Shins guards (mandatory), runners or cleats, the club issued pinnie, and dress for the weather

What to bring? Water bottle, a good attitude (be ready to learn and have fun)

When to arrive? Please be there at least 20 minutes early for the fist session and 10 minutes early for all subsequent sessions

Who is coaching? The club uses our technical staff, club coaches from various levels and age groups, and current and former players.  All coaches have at least the required certification for these age groups with many having completed much higher levels of training.

Do parents need to stay?  All parents and/or guardians need to be nearby at all times for their child.  If a parent is leaving the field area, please provide the coaches with contact info in case the child is injured or simply wants someone or something.  Do not treat this as a drop off and run opportunity.  More than once over the years, we've had to stop entire groups to tend to one child's needs because the parent(s) left and were unreachable.

Do parents need to help?  We sometimes get parents to help in drills, especially with the younger groups.  You, the parent or guardian, get to interact with your child and see what it takes to help teach them the skills needed to play the game.  It is a great way to spend quality time with your child and learn from our coaches at the same time.
